STAR OF THE WEEK
TEQUILA COCKTAIL BD 6
The first definition of word ‘cocktail’ defined in 1806, claims that it's ‘stimulating liquor composed of spirit of any kind, sugar, water and bitters, vulgarly called a 'bittered sling’. If the spirit  is whisky – the mixture is called ‘whisky cocktail’', if gin – ‘gin cocktail’ ect.. Of course bartenders experimented with cocktails, using new products appearing on the market, as well as fruits components. This way, by adding a drop of absinth, or using cherry liqueur as a sweetener, they created cocktails which were called ‘improved’, or 'fancy'.
Double ounce of Jose Cuervo Especial, tsp of simple syrup, bitters and water from dilution
